ProFundCom Product & Service Notification 28th September 2024

As a user of the ProFundCom platform, we want to notify you that it has undergone some changes. We will send these notifications every time the platform is updated.

Event Manager Updates

Description: The Event Manager has been updated with the following features:

Platform

Timezones are now better implemented. When you create an event, the correct timezone will be picked based on the event start date and location. If you amend the location or date in such a way that it would be a different timezone (for example changing the date so that Daylight Savings Time would apply), you will be invited to change the event timezone.

Calendar files will now show the correct timezone in Outlook.

Wherever a date is shown on the platform, the timezone used will be shown. In general, event dates and anything on the public event pages are in the local timezone of the event, and dates showing actions taken (for example the date an attendee cancelled) will use the user’s current timezone.
Schedules will now show the user’s local time for their due date, and will take into account local Daylight Savings Time. This will make it clearer exactly when a schedule will send from the point of view of the user.

Registration now automatically closes at the end of the event, not the beginning.

Email Templates

Event timezone is now available as a mailmerge field
Ticket Type registered is now available as a mailmerge field

‘Cancel/Decline’ is now available as a template Type, these are used to populate the template list to choose the Cancel & Decline conformations in the Event Customise screen.

Event Customisation

In the Cancel/Decline tab, there is now an option to choose a specific template to use for Cancellation/Decline notifications to attendees (the default is still the generic template), or to not send any notifications at all. There is a ‘preview’ button which will show the currently selected notification content.

There is now an option to check for duplicate registrations. If this is checked, when a person enters an email address in the registration form it will warn them if the address is already registered. This is just a warning, it will not prevent them registering.
You can toggle the ‘Add to Calendar’ link on the final confirmation screen when someone registers.

Attendees Screen

The system now sends a notification to the Organiser email when an attendee cancels
When you use ‘Message attendee’ from the Attendees screen, and choose an Invite template, you now have the option to update their status to ‘Invited’

Ticket Type is now available as a filter option

You can add a new attendee as part of an existing order (for example someone already registered contacts you and wants to add a ‘plus one’). To do this, open the dropdown to the right of an existing registered attendee and choose ‘Add to Order’.

Schedules

Schedules with 0 recipients will now still complete. Previously they wouldn’t run and would just remain at ‘overdue’.
Organiser Dashboard now shows upcoming schedules across all your events.
