ProFundCom Product & Service Notification 28th April 2025
As a user of the ProFundCom platform, we want to notify you that it has undergone some changes. We will send these notifications every time the platform is updated.
Process Checklist
Impact: Medium
Sections: Event Manager
Description: The Event Manager now has a process checklist which displays a list of the common tasks and steps involved in an event and allows you to tick them off as they are completed.
The checklist is entirely optional, it is intended purely to be an aid to memory and provide some reassurance to users that they haven’t missed a step. If the checklist isn’t used, or an item remains unticked, it will not affect the behaviour of the event.
The checklist is displayed using the ‘Task Checklist’ option in the menu on the left.
The screen will display the tasks required for various phases of an event, and where the system is able to check it will show the current status of the task. On the left are links which will open the appropriate edit screen for each task in a new tab. The checkboxes will save their state as soon as you tick them, there is no need to click a ‘save’ button.
If a task has a status will prevent the event from operating (for example, no registration template exists) an error icon will be displayed next to the task. There is also a warning icon for statuses which will not prevent the event proceeding, but which may require attention.
CRM Mailing Lists
Impact: Medium
Sections: Contacts and Accounts
Description: You can now add contacts to a mailing list from both Contacts and Accounts. When adding from Accounts, you will have the option to add either All Contacts or only the Main Contact to the mailing list.
Additionally, it is now possible to add contacts to CRM Mailing Lists directly from Reports, not just to the Main Platform Mailing Lists.
Notes:
-
Adding from Accounts simplifies the process and eliminates the need for previous workarounds, which would have become impractical with a large number of Accounts.
-
Adding from Reports offers another method to manage mailing lists, but is only available to clients with access to the Reports module.
