Most Hedge Funds, Asset Managers and Wealth Managers have a fairly good idea from their contact base who are more than likely to invest – primarily because they all claim  to have an excellent relationship with them. However once those near and dear contacts have invested (or not) the fund raising activity starts again, with a major lull before the next tranche of funds – and so the dance of eternity continues.
