ProFundCom was founded in 2005. We saw that new technology which allowed you to track when email attachments were opened could support the particular sales and marketing needs of the asset management sector.
That’s because in the alternative investment market personal relationships are fundamental. Email has the potential to support those relationships, facilitating regular non-intrusive contact.
It has this potential, but only if it’s used intelligently. We saw that if we could combine a tracking capability with personalisation tools and useful reporting we could help sales and marketing teams focus on real opportunities, and cement relationships rather than irritating potential clients with unwanted material.
